Lifeguard in Challenge Taiwan
Served as a volunteer lifeguard for Challenge Taiwan’s triathlon event, where safety and vigilance were paramount. Monitored and ensured participants’ safety, provided assistance, and developed acute awareness and quick response skills.
EV3 Robotics Instructor in Taiwan Fund for Children and Families
Volunteered weekly as an EV3 robotics instructor, teaching children robotics concepts and skills. Organized an annual showcase, allowing students to demonstrate their robotic creations, and raising awareness for underserved families.
Volunteer in Taipei Fuhsing Interact Club (3521 region)
Organized and facilitated blood donation drives, assisted in material-sorting activities, and played an integral role in bi-monthly strategy meetings with regional club officers to discuss and plan future service activities. Dedicated time to teaching online English classes for students in isolated regions of Taiwan during nap times for two years, fostering language skills and enhancing educational access.
Sending Gifts to Kids in Isolated Area on Thanksgiving Day
In the spirit of giving during Thanksgiving, I embarked on a heartwarming mission to bridge the distance between urban and remote communities through a thoughtfully organized gift-giving initiative. Working alongside dedicated volunteers, I helped coordinate and deliver carefully curated care packages to children in isolated regions who often miss out on holiday celebrations. Each package wasn't just filled with toys and treats, but also included handwritten notes of encouragement and educational materials to inspire young minds. I spent time personally connecting with the children, organizing impromptu storytelling sessions, and leading engaging activities that brought smiles to their faces.
Education in Remote and Isolated Area in Taiwan
I dedicated myself to bridging educational gaps in Taiwan's most isolated communities through an immersive outreach program that went far beyond traditional tutoring. Working closely with students in remote mountain villages, I developed and implemented innovative teaching strategies that combined local cultural elements with modern educational approaches. My role extended into mentorship, where I not only helped students with their academic challenges but also inspired them to dream beyond their geographical boundaries. Through interactive workshops, one-on-one tutoring sessions, and creative learning activities, I worked to spark curiosity and build confidence in these young minds. One of my most rewarding initiatives was establishing a peer support system that connected students from different villages, creating a sustainable network of learning and encouragement.
